We keep paddling.
Our journey began in 2013 when Canoe was incubated inside a private investment firm, Portage Partners, and evolved into the firm’s operating backbone. To this day, Portage does not employ any middle or back office professionals, and instead relies solely on Canoe. In 2017, recognizing broader potential, we launched independently. By 2018, we were offering our scalable solution to the wider alts community. Today, Canoe leads in alts tech innovation, combining industry expertise with cutting-edge technology. We’ve maintained our client-first approach, continuously refining our solutions based on real-world feedback. As we grow, we remain focused on delivering transformative technology that drives efficiency and unlocks new possibilities in alternative investments.
