Michelle Wilson, Canoe’s Head of Product, Named Inspiring FinTech Female
NEW YORK, December 12, 2023 – Michelle Wilson, VP and Head of Product at Canoe Intelligence (“Canoe”), the financial technology company powering alternative investment intelligence for institutional investors, capital allocators, wealth managers, and asset servicing firms, has been named on NYC FinTech Women‘s list of Inspiring Fintech Females 2023.
Michelle was awarded in the “Product Builders” category of this year’s list. IFF 2023 recipients were announced yesterday, December 11th, and will be formally celebrated at the NYC FinTech Women holiday party at the New York Stock Exchange later today.
NYC FinTech Women’s mission is to connect, empower, and promote women in FinTech. The Inspiring FinTech Females list recognizes women who, in their role, are transforming fintech and who are advocates for women and gender equity.
The 2023 edition of the list received over 300 nominations, and the judges were notably impressed with the winners’ industry achievements, influence, and advocacy for women in fintech.
This recognition follows numerous industry award wins for Canoe in 2023 and is the second for Michelle this year. She was named “Technology Innovator of the Year” at the WatersTechnology Women in Technology & Data Awards 2023 in March.
Earlier this quarter, Canoe expanded its product suite with the introduction of Canoe Pro, a comprehensive solution that integrates expert services into the Canoe client experience. Canoe also shared two product expansion announcements this quarter, including Canoe Tax for streamlined tax document workflows and plans to develop and deliver Canoe Asset Data through a design partnership with 13 existing clients.
