2025 marked a pivotal year for alternative investments in EMEA. As technology and regulation reshape the market, institutional investors, wealth managers, and family offices seek solutions that truly address operational challenges, ensure compliance, and drive growth. Progress isn’t just about the latest tech or industry buzzwords—it’s about the real, tangible outcomes that help firms operate with confidence, adapt to change, and seize new opportunities.

 

Client and Partner Growth 

In 2025, we set new growth records for Canoe Intelligence in EMEA. We welcomed 45% more new firms from 2024, including LGT Private Banking, BarmeniaGothaer, and Ocorian, and expanded into 16 countries. Our EMEA client community now includes over 100 organisations and represents 21% of Canoe’s total business. Thank you to our valued clients and partners!

Clients in our region experienced a 34% increase in commitments to Canoe, turning days of manual work into near-real-time, actionable insights. As a result, teams can scale efficiently without adding staff and focus on strategic priorities.

We expanded, in London, to a team of 24 across sales, support, relationship management, and machine learning, moving to a larger office to deliver scalable growth and operational excellence truly tailored to our clients’ needs.

Our partnerships with Publicis Sapient and WIZE have added to our European partner suite, which includes QPLIX, Simcorp, and Holland Mountain, delivering a new kind of value by bringing their expertise and local knowledge to create solutions that drive greater value. Regular visits with clients across Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, the Middle East, and APAC keep Canoe connected to the unique priorities and challenges of every market.

 

Outstanding Innovation

Across the region, alternative investments are experiencing significant growth in evergreen funds and locally administered GP funds, but operational infrastructure remains analog and fragmented. This disconnect between GPs and LPs creates barriers to transparency and speed, unlike the public markets. Canoe bridges this gap, bringing public-market efficiency to alternatives.

We see compliance demands rising, driven by new regulations such as DORA and increased scrutiny of third-party AI tools. Our clients need solutions, like Canoe, that meet these rigorous requirements without adding another layer of friction to an already complex workflow. Feedback from 40% of our EMEA clients, via Canoe Labs, directly shaped our H2 2025 roadmap.
