Canoe Intelligence announces document integration with Schwab Advisor Services™
Direct document delivery connection expands Canoe Connect’s automated collection capabilities for RIA and wealth management clients
NEW YORK, August 6, 2026 – Canoe Intelligence (“Canoe”), the intelligence infrastructure for alternative investments, today announced an integration with Schwab Advisor Services. Through a direct connection with Schwab Advisor Center®, mutual clients can now receive tax documents and account statements automatically within Canoe, eliminating manual downloads, reducing operational risk, and ensuring nothing gets missed during the highest-pressure periods of the reporting calendar.
The integration is live as of July 2026. For the 65+ firms that currently use Canoe and custody with Schwab, documents including 1099 tax forms, consolidated statements, and account summaries are delivered directly into Canoe’s platform daily via secure, encrypted connection. Once ingested, documents are processed through Canoe’s extraction engine, associated with the appropriate accounts, and made available for downstream workflows, with no manual intervention required.
Schwab is the largest custodian for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), and the operational demands of tax document management at scale are significant. This integration addresses that pressure point directly: collecting and processing high volumes of custodian documents accurately and on time, without relying on manual retrieval or fragmented workflows.
