This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) outlines how Canoe Software, Inc., and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“Canoe”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, use, safeguard, disclose, and process your information in connection with your use of websites owned and operated by us that link to this Policy (collectively the “Sites”), our generally available software-as-a-service applications, products, and services (“Services”), and in the normal course of our business. This Policy also explains your rights concerning your personal information. Our goal is to ensure transparency and trust as we handle your information. By accessing and using the Sites or Services you consent to our data practices explained herein.
Our Services
Our Services are provided to our customers (“Customers”) pursuant to a separate written agreement with them solely for their, and their authorized users’, benefit, and we process data and content provided by our Customers (“Customer Data”) pursuant to those agreements. Our Customers are solely responsible for their collection, use, processing, and disclosure of Customer Data. As such, this Policy does not apply to Customer Data, and any inquiries you have regarding any of your information that may be included in Customer Data should be directed to the applicable Customer.
Information We Collect
We may collect a variety of information when you access, use, and otherwise interact with our Sites and Services, and when you communicate with us. This includes information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information we obtain from other sources.
Information You Provide:
- Contact Information: Includes your name, email, phone number, and mailing address.
 - Professional Information: Includes your job title and company name.
 - Billing Information: Payment details, billing address, and transaction history.
 - Communication Records: We collect information from you with your consent when you interact and communicate us, such as, by requesting information, contacting support, sales, or customer service, downloading a whitepaper, filling out a form, completing a survey, registering for and attending a webinar or other event, or otherwise providing feedback, and may keep records of such communications, including in the form of emails, form submissions, call audio transcripts, and audio visual recordings.
 - Candidate Information: If you are a candidate, or prospective candidate applying for or inquiring about an open position, or otherwise interacting with us on our Careers page, please refer to our Careers Page Privacy Policy for additional information about how we handle and process personal information you provide in those circumstances.
 
Automatically Collected Information:
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use standard automated data collection tools, such as cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, tags, and similar tools, to collect Internet and device activity information about how individuals use our Sites and Services, and interact with our marketing communications. Legal Basis for Processing Information
Canoe Software, Inc. is the “data controller” or “business” with respect to the personal information collected under this Policy. Our collection and processing of personal information is based on several legal bases depending upon the personal information collected and the context in which it is processed. For example, we may process personal information where we have your consent to do so, for contractual necessity to enable us to fulfill our commitments to you or your organization and deliver agreed-upon Services or otherwise perform our obligations and exercise our rights, and where we have a legitimate interest in connection with other legitimate business purposes as set forth in the “How We Use Your Information” section above.

In the unlikely event of a bankruptcy, insolvency or liquidation, the database containing personal information may be treated as an asset of Canoe and may be subject to transfer to a third party.
