Canoe wins “Provider of the Year: Investments” at the Funds Europe Awards 2024
NEW YORK, December 17, 2024 – Canoe Intelligence (“Canoe”), the platform for smarter alts management, was crowned as European FundsTech “Provider of the Year: Investments” at the Funds Europe Awards 2024 during a ceremony in November.
Funds Europe’s awards acknowledge excellence across asset management firms, asset servicing providers, and technology vendors annually. This year, Canoe accelerated its expansion into European markets with a major investment in a new London office, bringing its EMEA headcount up 400% since last year. EMEA also brought in 30% of 2024’s net new clients, marking a significant milestone for Canoe’s international growth.
Canoe has recently been recognized with several industry nominations, including shortlists for the With Intelligence Fund Operations and Services Awards and With Intelligence Private Asset Management Awards.
This year, Canoe has also won a number of awards including the WatersTechnology Buy-Side Technology Awards for “Best Cloud Based Solution”, WatersTechnology American Financial Technology Awards for “Best New Technology Introduced Over the Last 12 Months”, A-Team Group’s Data Management Insight Europe Awards for “Best Data Ops Solution Provider”, and CIO’s Industry Innovation Awards for “Data and Technology.” Canoe has also been honored in the Financial Technology Report’s Top 100 Financial Technology Companies of 2024.
On July 9th, Canoe completed its Series C financing round of $36 million, led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. This marks a significant milestone for Canoe, representing a more than 3x increase in its company valuation. The additional capital will fuel Canoe’s strategic initiatives, global growth, and advancement of its AI-driven financial technology platform for alternative investors.
At the end of Q1, Canoe announced the commercial launch of Canoe Asset Data, an innovative solution to the industry-wide challenge of accessing and using complete, timely, and accurate asset-level data. In 2024, Canoe also introduced a wealth of new features—like the Connect Summary Dashboard, Document Rules Engine, and Activity Summary Email—all tailored to solve real-world challenges for investors. And, after launching Canoe Pro in 2021, Canoe expanded the program with four new Pro Partners to better tailor those services to our clients’ needs.
These developments build upon Canoe’s achievements in 2024, including 40% year-over-year growth in global clientele and 70% year-over-year growth in revenue.
