Canoe Nominated for Two Editors’ Choice Awards in Global Custodian’s Industry Leaders
NEW YORK, September 20, 2024 – Canoe Intelligence (“Canoe”), the financial technology company powering smarter alts management, has been shortlisted for two Editors’ Choice categories at Global Custodian’s awards for Industry Leaders.
This year, Canoe was nominated for “Fund Services Partnership of the Year,” honoring its partnership with Gen II Fund Services, as well as “Fund Services Technology Provider of the Year.”
Winners will be announced at the Industry Leaders Awards Dinner, taking place on November 21st at Current, Pier 59 in New York.
These awards include honors for client deals, acquisitions, new projects, partnerships and initiatives across fund services, along with Global Custodian’s annual ‘One to Watch’ and technology vendor accolades.
This recognition follows other recent industry accolades for Canoe, including recent shortlists across multiple categories for the Private Equity Wire European Emerging Manager Awards 2024, ThinkAdvisor Luminaries Awards 2024, and A-Team Group’s Data Management Insight Awards Europe 2024.
This year, Canoe has also won awards for “Onboarding” at the Eleventh Annual Family Wealth Report Awards 2024 program, “Most innovative use of AI in an enterprise data management initiative” at the 2024 A-Team Insight Innovation Awards, and “Change Management Process/Best Implementation of a Technology Solution” at the WealthBriefing European Awards 2024.
On July 9th, Canoe completed its Series C financing round of $36 million, led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. This marks a significant milestone for Canoe, representing a more than 3x increase in its company valuation. At the end of Q1, Canoe announced the commercial launch of Canoe Asset Data, an innovative solution to the industry-wide challenge of accessing and using complete, timely, and accurate asset-level data.
